It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen. Once in a while a dog will have his pads not form normal. Heathcliff is one of them. All his feet have his pads fused like this picture. See how it's 3/4 split, but not all the way, by his 2 middle nails? It doesn't stop him from walking, running, or being like everyone else. It makes him unique!

This grass feels so much better than concrete.

A totally different facial expression is easily seen here. The sparkle in his eyes from being freed.

Tall and handsome. Gentle and loving. That's me!

The perfect build you'd expect of a Setter. Not underweight on this fella. He weighs in at 55.5 lbs.

He is a very sweet dog. A little timid but warms up quite nicely. Gets along with all the other dogs. He loves his crate and loves car rides!! I am sure he has hunted before because Bella was pointing a dove out in the backyard and from the porch he was backing her without even seeing what she was pointing. Then he went through my screen. Oh well...
